Science Fun Day

Did you know that something that tastes so amazing was all part of learning Science? Yes, it is true, icecream is science.

Start with some simple ingredients: sugar, milk, and vanilla extract or chocolate syrup.

Now it is time to shake!

Art Class with the 4th Grade!

This project requires multiple materials and alot of steps!

Materials used:

charcoal pencil

 tortillion or smudger

white chalk

charcoal eraser

easel

We are having so much fun using and experimenting with all these new materials!

Roller Coasters

During science, we were learning about roller coasters.  We learned about gravity and momentum.  Today, we got to be roller coaster engineers!  Our roller coasters are still under construction, but once they are ready to be tested and put to use, we will post a video clip.  Enjoy the pictures!

Create-A-Garden

Even though the day was rainy, the 4th graders still enjoyed the springtime.  Mrs. Hill came in and taught them how to make their own little gardens.  They had such a good time.  Thank you, Mrs. Hill!

Ipads in the Classroom

Music and Math Jam Session

We started learning about square roots and perfect squares. It is so easy and fun if you put it to music!
The fourth grade broke up into two groups and wrote songs using the garageband app on ipads.
